Nicky

Location: Army base
On 11th September 2019, our team received a call from an Israeli army base saying that a stray donkey, obviously exhausted and dehydrated, had wandered into their base and collapsed. The soldiers looked after Nicky and gave him water until we arrived to take him back to our sanctuary. Nicky, who was about 15 when rescued, had obviously had a very hard life as he was covered in cuts and scrapes and was very underweight. He soon improved under the care of our team.
