Lawson was about 5 when he was brought to the sanctuary on 16 February 2020 as a stray. He had terrible wounds above his eyes, luckily these could be treated by our wonderful vet.

Paul was about 7 years old when he was brought to us towards the end of November 2019 – he and another donkey were found tied to a pole in the Israeli city of Jaffa. Apparently the poor things had been there for a week before anyone thought to call us – what a relief
Miriam was about 2 months old when she arrived at our clinic in Nablus. A farmer had found her wandering in one of his fields.
Noelle was about 2 years old when she was found in the Palestinian Territories. She had been shot, but luckily the bullet had not caused any major damage.
Moshe was only 3 months old when he was found standing by the body of his mother who had been knocked down and killed by a car. He was brought back to the sanctuary where he made friends with another foal, David.
Tommy was only about 5 months old when he came to our sanctuary on 11th September 2019 – he had been found as a stray in the village of Ashilam in the south of Israel.
On 11th September 2019, our team received a call from an Israeli army base saying that a stray donkey, obviously exhausted and dehydrated, had wandered into their base and collapsed. The soldiers looked after Nicky and gave him water until we arrived to take him back to our sanctuary. Nicky, who was about 15 when
Daffodil was about 5 months old when she was brought as a stray to our clinic in the Palestinian city of Nablus.
Zada was just a few weeks old when she was brought to our Nablus clinic on 1st August 2019 with a deep wound in her neck. This took some time to heal but she is now much better.
