Hope
Hope was born at the rescue centre on 23rd December 2017. Sadly her mother Rita passed away in 2018 but Hope is still with us, her name symbolising all that Safe Haven stands for.

Hurricane, named in honour of the iconic aircraft, was about 5 years old when he came to our sanctuary in 2018 as a stray.
Spitfire, named after the iconic aircraft, was about 12 when he came to our sanctuary in 2018 as a stray.
Maura was brought to the sanctuary in Mary 2018 as her previous owner was no longer able to look after her. Although she was about 3, she was very small and her hooves were overgrown, leading our team to suspect that she had been kept in a small area with not enough exercise.
Charles was about 3 years old when he was brought to the sanctuary on 11th June 2018 by a lady who had found him wandering the streets of a town in the far north of Israel.
Otto was only ten weeks old when he was abandoned at the donkey market in the Palestinian city of Nablus. He was taken back to the nearby refugee camp by a group of boys but our Nablus clinic manager Dr Rakan was later told the boys were abusing the poor little donkey so Dr Rakan
Ben was about 2 years old when he was found wandering the streets in 2018 with a chain wrapped so tightly around his muzzle that he couldn’t open his mouth.
Betty was only a couple of months old when she was brought to our Nablus clinic on 2 January 2019 as her owner no longer wanted her.
Gali was brought to us as a 2 year old stray on 5 October 2018 along with her then 5 month old foal, Yalon. The pair had been found wandering the streets by a kind gentleman who brought them to our sanctuary.
